How Hypnosis Positively Changed My Daily Life

Today, I want to share a very special story with you—a hypnosis session that profoundly transformed my life in unexpected ways.

The Ever-Present Pressure

The focus of the session was "pressure." Time and time again, I felt pressure in my daily life—especially in situations involving my children. One example is in the changing room after swimming. Although I knew we had enough time, an inner tension would arise. I wanted things to move faster and often found myself trapped in a cycle of frustration, nagging, and guilt. It felt like running a marathon—physically and emotionally draining.

This wasn’t the kind of mom I wanted to be. No matter what I intended, something always seemed to go wrong in those situations. In the end, I was left frustrated, and feeling unhappy with myself, while my children received far too much nagging and annoyance from me. For what? It was unsatisfying in every way and left me utterly exhausted.

Another scenario: driving while a tailgater was behind me. Feelings of suffocation, a tightness in my chest, shoulders tensing—it was a constant companion.

Why Hypnosis?

I had tried many methods to break these patterns: breathing exercises, and working on my nervous system—but nothing helped long-term. So, I decided to tackle the issue through a hypnosis session.

A fellow student from my hypnosis training guided me through the session. At first, we tried to find connections to stressful situations, but the initial approaches didn’t bring clarity. Then, in a deeper trance, an image suddenly appeared in my mind: my family and I, as a child, sitting together in front of the TV. A seemingly peaceful moment—and yet, as a child, I felt a strong desire for attention and the sense of being unseen.

Old Beliefs and New Perspectives

We delved deep into this situation and worked with my inner child. During hypnosis, the adult Eva interacted with the child Eva to fulfill those needs for attention. At the same time, we questioned whether my perception of the situation back then really matched reality—or if it was simply a belief that had influenced me to this day.

Through this process, I developed a sense of calm and understanding—exactly what I needed for situations like the one in the changing room.

A New Life Without Pressure

After the hypnosis session, I felt relaxed and relieved. But the best part? The change lasted. Situations that used to stress me out—like baking cookies with my children or getting ready for school and kindergarten in the morning—were now moments of calm and joy.

Take baking cookies, for instance: I used to avoid it like the plague. Since the hypnosis session (which was ten months ago now), I bake with at least one of my children every two weeks.

Another fascinating change: although I only altered my behavior, my children’s behavior also shifted. Challenges like the daily "I don’t want to put on my shoes" resolved themselves almost effortlessly.

Hypnosis—A Tool with Potential

This experience left a deep impression on me. Hypnosis has shown me how to recognize and dissolve emotional connections that are difficult to grasp consciously. It’s a tool that bridges rational understanding and emotional reality—a key to transformation.
